This policy explains what personal information Art Style Construction collects through this website, why we collect it, who else can see it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language and kept it specific to how this website actually works.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a form on this site (the contact form or a free-consultation request), we receive only what you type into it:

• Your name
• Your email address and/or phone number
• The service you are interested in, or a subject line
• Any details you choose to include in the message

Please don’t include sensitive information (financial details, health information, government ID numbers) in a website form — we never need it to give you a quote.

Technical information

When a form is submitted, our server records the IP address the submission came from, along with the date, time, and which page the form was on. This is used only to prevent spam and abuse, and to troubleshoot delivery problems. Our web host also keeps standard server logs.

• To communicate with you about a project you have asked us about
• To protect the website from spam and abuse

We use your information only for the purpose you gave it to us. We do not send marketing newsletters, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. Advertising and analytics — what we do not do

To be clear about something many websites are not: this website does not run advertising pixels or analytics tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta/Facebook pixel, and no advertising trackers on these pages. We do not build advertising profiles about you or track you across other websites.

5. Service providers who may receive data

A small number of trusted providers help this website function. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare (Turnstile) — the anti-spam check on our forms. To tell humans from bots, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic browser signals when a form loads or is submitted.
• Google (Maps) — the map embedded on our Contact page is served by Google. When that page loads, Google receives your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies. This happens on the Contact page only.
• Google (Gmail) — form submissions are delivered to us as email, so the message content passes through Google’s mail service.
• Our web hosting provider — stores the website files and keeps standard server logs.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so.

6. Cookies

This website does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. The third-party services above (Cloudflare’s anti-spam check and the Google Map on the Contact page) may set their own cookies or similar storage when those features load. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though the map or anti-spam check may not.

7. How long we keep your information

Enquiry emails are kept in our business email account for as long as needed to serve you and to keep normal business records — typically up to seven years for completed projects, in line with standard Canadian record-keeping practice. Anti-spam and server logs are short-lived and used only for security and troubleshooting. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner (see section 9).

8. How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and form submissions are transmitted securely. Access to enquiry emails is limited to the people at Art Style Construction who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

9. Your rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date
• Ask us to delete your enquiry and related information
• Withdraw your consent to us contacting you, at any time

To make a request, email art.style.information@gmail.com or call 647-865-4904. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

10. Links to other websites

Our website links to our Instagram profile and may link to other external sites. Once you leave this website, this policy no longer applies — those sites have their own privacy practices.

11. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
